The next chapter…

And just like that my days of being a care-free student are over. “Welcome to the real world”, as some may say.

Whilst I’m still currently working out the plot for the next chapter of my life (watch this space!), I wanted to reflect on the closing of the current one.

To York, this is not a goodbye but a see you very soon.

I will always treasure the memories made over the past three years. Living in York has been a blessing, and the city has my whole heart. From the incredible independent businesses, a very aesthetic café scene to the bustling historic streets, York has welcomed me with open arms.

But calling York home would not have been so easy if it hadn’t been for the wonderful people I’ve met, who have supported me, laughed with me and cheered me on my merry way.How lucky I am to know such kind-hearted and brunch-loving individuals. I cannot wait for the day we will all be united, to celebrate our achievements in true York-style. Until then, Zoom calls will have to do.

To you reading this, I’ve got a new posting schedule!

Have no fear! My uni days might be over but I have no plans of ending this online space just yet. In fact, my plans are now quite the opposite. With no upcoming academic deadlines or impending seminar readings, I can now fully devote my free time to what I love: creating content. I’ll be the first to admit that my blog has been neglected during term-time, or when life “gets busy”, but hey, nobody’s perfect.

From now on, you’ll find my ramblings on here, each Wednesday and Sunday (as much as possible), so be sure follow my Instagram for post updates, or even better subscribe to the blog to get email notifications!

Please do let me know if there’s any particular posts/categories you enjoy reading, or if there’s anything you want to read more of around here. I’m currently wearing my thinking cap and your comments are always appreciated!

Thank you for joining me on my blogging journey so far. I love sharing my musings with you and I cannot wait to be posting more frequently in the future. I hope you are as excited as I am, as I begin this next chapter.
