My Top Sustainable Face Covering Finds

If you haven’t yet found your perfect face covering yet then here’s a list of my favourite re-usable, washable and sustainably-made ones on the market.

By Megan Crosby – made from remnant fabric from her clothing collection. Megan’s shop is currently closed for orders, however follow her Instagram to keep up-to-date on face mask re-stocks. Be quick, these sell out super-fast.

O Pioneers – these Liberty print fabric face coverings are a collaboration with Isabel Spearman to help raise funds for the charity Intensive Care Society, who provide vital wellbeing and support for Intensive Care workers. The triple layered masks are made using offcuts from O Pioneers dresses by local seamstresses.

Little Miss Tidy Masks – Jess handmakes each mask herself using an array of offcut fabrics. She offers customisable and reversible masks over on her Depop as well as matching scrunchies!

Migrate Art – migrate art have collaborated with renowned artists to create reusable, washable and reversible #masksformeals. All net profit will be donated to Refugee Community Kitchen, who help feed the UKs homeless. The price of one mask £19.99 is equivalent to 30 hot meals.

Springkode – these unisex 100% cotton masks come in a variety of colours and in multipacks – perfect for when others are in the wash. They are made from eco-friendly and recyclable materials and also have size options for children as well as adults.

Don’t forget, there’s always the option of making your own face coverings. If you’re struggling where to start, I’d suggest checking out The Big Community Sew for a step-to-step guide and pre-made, downloadable sewing patterns or watching and sewing along with Kerry Lockwood’s fabulous IGTV video
